indymOne would think that since SYRIZA is now the government of Greece, it’s youth would have better things to do, like trying to find solutions for the multiple problems of our country. But it seems that for such a leftist youth organisation, when they cannot be anti-government, they need to find something else to be anti for.
On Saturday, greek patriots (with Golden Dawn amongst them) have organised a rally to commemorate the deaths of three greek officers killed during the Imia crisis with Turkey. It has been going on every year since 1996.
syrizayouthNow, under our new government a counter-demonstration has been announced by anti-fascists-anarchists and leftists on the indymedia network.
And surprise the government’s party youth, has announced that it will be taking part and it is calling it’s supporters to take part in it.

ImageHandlerGreece is probably the only country in the Eurozone plagued by extreme-leftist/anarchist terrorism. For over 40 years the terrorist organisation “17th November” was in action and after it’s demise in 2004, a lot new “players” showed up in the scene. It is commony accepted that a lot of the funding of those terrorist organisation comes from bank robberies, with terrorist groups making bank robberies, sometimes on their own and sometimes in collaboration with common law criminals.
This “revolutionary fund” as it often called in the greek media provides not only arms and bombs but according to the latest findings of the police hires of other criminals, including probably those that murdered the two young mumbers of GD.
The last arrested from the “revolutionary”/”terrorist” organisation “Synomosia pirinon tis fotias” were actually arrested in such a bank robbery. But they were not the only ones. Members of what someone would call the “Elit” of the greek society, from the upper echelon, they are now facing multiple charges that could lead to prison for years. Although after a hunger strike of one of them, the greek state – after the meeting of the ex-PM Antonis Samaras with his parents- that he would be able to take leaves to go study.

Citizenship to all immigrants’ children announced (even those not born in Greece)

The new face of Greece

The new face of Greece

Citizenship to all immigrants’ children, born and raised in Greece, was announced by the minister’s deputy for immigrational policy Tasia Christodoulopoulou.
Talking to SYRIZA’s radio station “In Red” she said:”Syriza has pledged to give greek citizenship to all the children born and raised in greece, the so called 2nd generation of immigrants”.
She gave emphasis to the “restoration” of all those children that knew no other home, even those that were not born here, but came very early in Greece and grew up here, finished school here”.

Our comment: Syriza’s policy of infusing the greek electorate with “new blood” that will stand by it will probably make sure that no conservative party will be elected, if allowed to be fulfilled.
Tasia Christodoulopoulou, wife of the minister Dritsas (ministry of shipping) is a lawyer, elected in the Lawer’s Union with the Radical Left Movement. She was a founding member of SYRIZA. Her main interests are described as defending rights, against discrimination based in nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation.
One can easily understand that we are talking about a staunch defender of multiculturalism.

The results of the Greek elections were not really a surprise to any Greek except those hopelessly in love with the previous government. Everyone knew that after five years of austerity, which has been harder on Greece than most wars, a lot of people gave up hope on any chance of a smooth transition to an era of stability, and felt the need to replace their government.
